Location: Not on view
Did You Know?
The tree-like trophy in the center sits on top of three ringed pellets, surrounded by various motifs.Description
The smaller size of the quarter stater left the artist little room for design. Apparently he was unable to reduce the stater design to such small dimensions. The meaningless jumble is probably part of a larger design.- -1969Mrs. Emery May Holden Norweb (1895-1984), Cleveland, OH, gifted to the Cleveland Museum of Art1969-The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH
