Dubnovellaunus was the king of the area around Kent. He was a warlike ruler and at various times possessed territory on both sides of the Thames. He may have succeeded Addedomaros by conquest and ruled over the Trinovantes. He undoubtedly suffered defeat at the hands of Cunobeline of the Catuvellauni and was forced back to Kent. He was one of the British chieftains mentioned with Tincommius on the monument to Augustus at Ancyra in Galatia.
