A horizontally oriented handscroll in black ink depicts an expansive panorama of craggy mountains and misty valleys. Rolling hills on the left transition into jagged peaks overlooking a body of water with distant boats. Leafy trees with speckled strokes and leafless branches appear throughout. Fine ink lines detail small buildings nestled among the terrain, while soft gray washes and sharp textures define the rocky landscape across the exceptionally long paper.
