Description
Bracelets and anklets in various media are popular forms of jewelry among many African peoples. Their beauty and refinement communicate social position and good taste. This bracelet is an elegant flared form with precisely-rendered designs incised into the surface. It is found widely in Gabon and Cameroon among various peoples.- Year in Review, 1976.
