A vertically oriented graphite drawing on gray paper depicts a standing woman with light skin in an ornate, voluminous dress. Facing us, her right arm stretches outward while her left rests at her waist. Fine, cross-hatched lines create deep shadows across her skirt's horizontal bands. Sparse, sketchy strokes define her ruffled collar and decorated cap, with a hazy veil trailing behind her. Frenetic hatching shades her sleeves' intricate, puffed patterns.
