A vertically oriented lithograph in black ink depicts a man with a long white beard gazing upward and to our left with wide eyes and open mouth. His skeletal right hand reaches up, while his left hand clenches a gnarled staff on our right. Scratchy white lines define the figure against a dark, grainy background, beneath a large, textured form. Handwritten inscriptions and numbering appear in the bottom margin.
