This dark-brown glazed jar, with the heavy clay body and translucent glaze on the cover and the top just below it, has a rare shape of a fruit. It has a narrow foot with several moldings and incised wavy pattern immediately below the cover which is shaped in the form of a curling fruit stem that forms a handle. It is difficult to determine what type of fruit was meant, possibly a squash.
