Description
Two spotted animals flank a simplified tree with more roots than leaves, framed by an angular vine. The nearly symmetrical pattern, woven in simple tapestry weave, was influenced by more complex weaves, visible in the silks displayed below.- Mrs. Paul Mallon, Paris.
