Description

Jan Groover's carefully composed photographs entice the viewer into a quietly mysterious world of formal elegance. This image is from a series of photographs of utensils and food. Arranging objects that have a strong geometric interest, such as knives, molds, cones, pans, vegetables, and fruit, in isolated, overlapping, angled, or cropped compositions, Groover used light to define and transform both objects and space.
