Stained black wood pedestal with a mirrored rectangular base and top connected by four cylindrical columns. The base and top narrow slightly towards the columns and at sharp angles, carved with different geometric patterns. The columns periodically have fine rings of different thicknesses encircling them, a ring of spheres running around the center.

Description

The pedestal of of ebonized (stained black) wood was made under the stylistic influence of the Philadelphia architect Frank Furness (1839-1912).
