Description
Steven Weinberg creates sculptural works by casting thick blocks of monochrome glass into a mold. However, rather than create his complex scenes in positive space, Weinberg creates relief imagery in the negative space enveloped by the transparent color, resulting in this example in a mysterious cityscape seen at night, perhaps by the light of a full moon.- Turner, Evan H. “The Year in Review for 1992.” The Bulletin of the Cleveland Museum of Art 80, no. 2 (February 1993): 38–79.
