Andreas Groll
Andreas Groll Austro-Hungarian, active 1843-1870 Andreas Groll, considered a prominent photographer of architecture, opened a studio in Vienna in 1857. In 1865 he published an extensive catalog of his works for sale. He exhibited in Paris (1855) and Vienna (1864), and Count Aguado included him in the seventh Exposition of the Société française de photographie (1865). Groll produced industrial landscapes and ethnographic costume studies, working in Poland, Austria-Hungary, and Germany. T.W.F.
