Description
Sasajima changed his style radically in the 1990s. Although earlier he wanted to retain the two-dimensional quality of calligraphy, he deeply embossed Fudo-Myoo No. 100, creating a three-dimensional representation of a Buddhist figure.- ?–1993(Yoseido Gallery, Tokyo, Japan, sold to the Cleveland Museum of Art)1993–The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH
