A horizontal sepia-toned photogravure depicts a nude woman with light skin tone crouching on our left at the edge of dark water. Facing our right, her dark hair visible, she extends her right arm toward a translucent sphere floating on the water's surface. A low, rocky overhang creates a cave-like setting, while thin, bare branches reach into the frame from our right. The image uses soft focus and muted brown tones.
