Ida is a leading contemporary Japanese artist who lives and works in Kyoto. He has also spent extended periods working in London, Paris, and the United States, including several sessions at the San Francisco Printmaking workshop, Crown Point Press. Ida often works in series, exploring the basic forces and elements that exist in the natural world such as gravity, air, and water.
