A horizontally oriented engraving on brown paper depicts a curled figure composed of dense, scribbled hatching. The figure lies on its side with the head to our left and legs tucked toward the right. A hand with splayed fingers emerges near the center of the dark mass. The upper half of the composition is empty. A number sits in the bottom left corner and a signature in the bottom right.
