Description
This bowl, designed and created by the husband and wife ceramicists Otto and Gertrud Natzler, is notable for its distinctly textured surface. This is achieved by using a volcanic glaze, usually containing silicon carbide, which creates a crater-like effect.- {{cite web|title=Bowl|url=false|author=Gertrud Natzler, Otto Natzler|year=c. 1950|access-date=22 December 2025|publisher=Cleveland Museum of Art}}
