Graphite on horizontally oriented off-white paper outlines a central square frame filled with a dense, rhythmic mass of looping and jagged lines. Overlapping strokes create varying depths of gray, concentrated heavily near the top. While a thin line defines the square's perimeter, several loose scribbles extend beyond the bottom boundary, contrasting the geometric frame with the spontaneous, calligraphic energy of the interior marks.
