Graphite on horizontally oriented off-white paper features a dense rectangular mass of scribbled lines. A thin, hand-drawn border contains the fine, loopy marks that overlap to create a thick, varying texture. Some lines extend slightly beyond the top and bottom edges of the border. On the left, two small red marks punctuate the tangle of gray graphite.
