A vertically oriented etching and drypoint depicts towering stone ruins with crumbling walls and dark archways against a pale sky. In the center, a massive rectangular structure rises above a shadowed portal. To the left, a smaller arch reveals tiny, sunlit figures. Deep, velvety shadows fill the tiered foreground, while strong light highlights the weathered upper edges of the masonry. A signature is visible on the paper margin at the bottom right.
