A horizontally oriented drypoint in black ink depicts a woman with light skin on a rocky shore, cradling an infant. Near her, one child crouches while another leans forward to play with a toy sailboat. A large wooden boat rests on the ground to the right. Behind them, weathered wooden shacks and houses cluster on a steep hillside. Dense hatching and cross-hatching create heavy shadows and rugged textures throughout the scene.
