This book commemorates the 12th anniversary of the Taller de Gráfica Popular (TGP), an artist-run printshop in Mexico City that aimed to make affordable prints and to address social and political issues through art. The TGP invited an international range of artists to work in its space, including Swiss artist Hannes Meyer (1889–1954). A former director of the Bauhaus, an experimental art school in Germany, Meyer fled Europe during World War II. While in Mexico, Meyer edited this book, which describes the TGP’s various projects.
