Description

"I didn't want to be in that position of saying, 'Oh, I saw a great shot, if only I had my camera,'" says Meyerowitz, who travels everywhere with his camera, which he views as an extension of the artist's eye. Believing that photographs have the ability to summarize his life experiences, he captures here the energy and motion of a typical day in New York City.
