Description
Heinrich Loeffelhardt, a student of the famous Bauhaus pioneer designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld, designed this classic tea service using advanced heat resistant glass. In its production, both hand and machine glassmaking techniques are used to ensure that the pot pours without dripping while the glass handle stays cool to the touch.- {{cite web|title=Tea Service: Cup and Saucer|url=false|author=Heinrich Loeffelhardt, Schott & Gen./ Jena Glaswerk|year=designed 1956; made c. 1963|access-date=16 September 2024|publisher=Cleveland Museum of Art}}
