Description
Powell is a young and recently recognized member of the American studio glass movement. (Studio glass can be defined as glass made by single individuals, or, at most, a small number of people working outside industrial settings.) Like many glassmakers, he trained as a ceramist. This large blown glass object is a relatively early and unusually attractive example of his work.
