A vertically oriented cream parchment page is inked with alternating rows of black musical notation and Latin script (see "Transcription"). Thick square notes sit on four horizontal red staff lines. Several red decorative initial letters mark the start of phrases. Along our right edge of the text, small black diagonal marks repeat. The text includes the phrase "Oramus ergo te domine ut cereus iste in honorem nominis tui consecratus."
