Description
Since 1991, Bosworth has traveled the United States photographing National Champion trees, each celebrated as the largest example of a species. In its statuesque portrait, this venerable red oak is at once the marker of a distant past and an active participant in the ongoing present. The tree endures as a vital component of the shifting landscape in which it stands.- Contemporary Landscape Photography.
