Description

Houtin trained as a landscape architect but soon realized that he was more interested in conceiving imaginary gardens than actual ones. Knowledgeable about the Italian, French, and English botanical traditions, he created fantastic hybrids; wild, yet organized, his prints overflow with extravagant constructions and vegetation.
