A horizontally oriented black-and-white photograph depicts thick tree trunks emerging from dense fog. Foreground left, a dark, deeply textured trunk dominates the frame beside another leaning sharply right. Center and right, additional trunks appear increasingly pale and spectral as they recede into the white mist. Sparse, wiry branches with delicate, individual leaves hang from the top edge. The ground is a soft, gray gradient, disappearing into the hazy atmosphere of the distant background.
