A vertically oriented etching in black ink depicts a three-masted ship angled toward the viewer. Billowing sails marked with dark crosses fill the upper two-thirds. Below, an ornate stern features carved figures and patterned railings. A dense network of thin lines represents rigging connecting the masts. Long streamers fly from the mast tops, while lines intersecting in cross-hatches create texture and depth against the neutral background.
