Helena Hernmarck's tapestries are in numerous museum collections and have been frequently shown in group and one-person exhibitions. The latter include: Museum of Modern Art, NYC (1973); Los Angeles County Museum of Art (1974); The Danish Museum of Decorative Arts, Copenhagen (1977); The Public Library, Birmingham, AL (1986); Galleri Osterdahl, Stockholm (1988 & 1992); American Swedish Historical Museum, Philadelphia (1990); LongHouse Foundation, East Hampton, NY (1997), New Britain Museum of American Art, CT (1997); Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC (1999); Prince Eugen's Waldemarsudde, Stockholm (1999) which attracted 65,000 visitors and caused Stockholm to pressure Hernmarck for a gift of Poppies.
