Study of a Seated Nude Female Model Drawing
c. 1888–1898
Location: not on view
Description
In this surprising drawing, a nude figure abandons her role as model in favor of drawing. The passive nude has become active; she turns away from the viewer, absorbed in her own artistic pursuit.- Adrien Karbowski; [Fischer Kiener Galerie, Paris, Dec. 1991]
