Description

Although Hewit continued to produce prints with Saugatuck, Michigan, and Cleveland subjects, after her trip to Mexico in 1950, an increasing amount of work was devoted to depicting more exotic scenes reflecting her trips abroad. Morning Beach, Acapulco is an amalgamation of details from the graphite sketch and watercolor of the scene.
