A vertically oriented graphite drawing on cream-colored paper features a leaping fish in the upper half, its form detailed with fine hatching as it emerges from splashing water. A thin fishing line trails from its mouth. In the upper right, text reads "Still fast!" Below, a handwritten cursive inscription addressed to friends fills the bottom half, concluding with the signatures of William and Anne Schaldach at the bottom right.
