A horizontally oriented ink drawing on cream paper depicts whimsical figures fishing from a boat labeled THE DOG MUFFIN. Characters including the Champion of Scotland, a bird-like creature named the Cap'n, and a mermaid hold fishing rods over wavy water. Speech bubbles float above their heads. Simple outlines form seagulls and a rock labeled Old Silas to the right. Handwritten inscriptions and the date Oct. 9, 1927, appear at the bottom.
