A vertically oriented ink drawing on tan paper features various sketches and inscriptions. In the upper left, a small sketch depicts a man seated in profile, writing, with light gray wash shading. Beside him, the names "James McBey" and "Marguerite McBey" are dated "19 October 1940." Centrally, a musical staff with handwritten notes appears. The lower half contains several signatures, including "Amory Hunt" and "Dorothy Spelman," dated from late 1940.
