A vertically oriented lithograph in black and white depicts various objects against vertical wooden planks. In the upper left, a torn frame holds a portrait of a person in a dark cap gazing outward. To the right, a crumpled envelope and two small cards are tucked behind tape. A thin, curling ribbon descends from the top, passing a card at the lower left and ending near a long-stemmed rose lying at the bottom right.
