A vertically oriented black-and-white photograph features a jagged crevice slicing through a field of parched earth. An interlocking network of cracks forms a mosaic of irregular polygons, their raised surfaces catching light in pale gray while deep shadows pool in the fissures. These textured fragments create a complex geometric pattern across the frame, punctuated by small pebbles scattered across the rough, dry terrain from the bottom to the top edge.
