A horizontally oriented ink and wash drawing on aged paper depicts a figure in a voluminous gray coat with a fur collar, standing with their back toward us. They face a seated vendor under a scalloped umbrella who inspects a plant topped with human heads. Nearby, pots contain more plants with human faces. To the right, a dark watering can sits. A small, disembodied face is sketched in the lower right corner.
