A hanging scroll depicts Fish Basket Kannon as a barefoot woman with light skin tone and dark hair. Wearing flowing cream-colored robes, she holds a woven basket containing greenery and small fish. She stands within a faint, almond-shaped mandorla. Above her, vertical columns of Japanese calligraphy and red seals fill the composition. Patterned gold fabric borders the scroll's top and bottom edges.
