Description
Manga Dreams captures an Asian street culture in which youths make themselves look like characters in Japanese manga (comics and graphic novels) and anime (animated films). Anderson & Low combined studio portraiture with digital postproduction in Photoshop to allow these individuals to be seen inhabiting the fictional worlds they adore. In these images, art imitates life, while life imitates art.- Anderson, Jonathan, Edwin Low, and Yasufumi Nakamori. Manga Dreams: A Homage to the Manga and Anime Creators and Artists.
