Description
The main character in a documentary film by Lyon, Josélynn was one of a group of abandoned children living off garbage and sleeping on the cathedral steps. “Sometimes people ask me what happened to Josélynn, but I don’t know. Maybe he’s a beggar in the streets. Maybe he joined the guerrillas, but I doubt it. Maybe he’s dead.”- {{cite web|title=Josélyn, Santa Marta, Colombia|url=false|author=Danny Lyon|year=1972, printed 1979|access-date=18 April 2024|publisher=Cleveland Museum of Art}}
