A vertically oriented black-and-white photograph is dominated by horizontal siding seared by a large, irregular blackened void tapering at the center. The charred surface presents a rough, jagged texture punctuated by dark rectangular cutouts. Several dark smudges mark the top edge of the pale wall. In the foreground, dense, splotchy clusters of leafy foliage stretch from edge to edge across the bottom, partially obscuring the base.
