Viewed from behind and above, they stand in dense, diagonal rows facing the upper right. Each wears a smooth, rounded helmet and a jacket with shoulder straps. Rifles are slung over many backs. The repetitive rows of helmets and uniforms create a rhythmic pattern that fills the frame from edge to edge.
