Did You Know?

The 1980s were significant for Pintor and for the development of fine art photography in Argentina.

Description

One of the elder statesmen of the Argentinian photography scene, Pintor uses “straight” or unmanipulated photography to capture the imaginative and surreal in Argentina’s urban and rural environments. “The urban landscapes in Buenos Aires are nocturnal, because the day did not inspire me,” said Pintor, “although it is really more difficult technically to photograph the night.”
