Description

Since there was little market for fine art photography during most of his lifetime, Edward Weston earned his livelihood through portrait commissions such as this one. He shot actress Faith Domergue (1924–1999) in character for the starring role in the film Vendetta, the story of a nineteenth-century Corsican maiden who urges her brother to violently avenge their parents’ murders.
