1988
Location: Not on view

Description

Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist’s work, which translates as “Absolutions, Pipolotti’s Mistakes,” juxtaposes images of herself collapsing to the ground with bursts of scrambled electronic distortion. The piece explores the imperfections of the video machine, which carries echoes of psychological and personal mistakes.
