Did You Know?

The man depicted here is the renowned, influential photographer Minor White (1908–1976).

Description

When Minor White taught a photography workshop in Cleveland around 1970, Abe Frajndlich was so impressed that he moved to Massachusetts to become a live-in student in White’s home. He stayed there on and off for the next six years. After White suffered this third heart attack, the two spent a year collaborating on a book project comprising a group of portraits that Frajndlich took of his mentor in and around his home. This image became the book’s cover.
