A square enamel on copper panel features a field of pale, irregular ovals scattered across a charcoal and brownish-black background. Mottled gray specks and dark lines mark the off-white, pebble-like forms, which vary in size and density. Toward the upper right, several shapes cluster together. Thin, jagged outlines define their edges, creating a textured, organic appearance that contrasts with the dark, metallic luster of the surface.
