Early childhood education is critical because a child’s brain develops more than at any other time.Description
Sage Sohier was commissioned by The George Gund Foundation to document early childhood education classes at pre-schools that were part of Invest in Children, Cuyahoga County’s public-private early childhood partnership. Her images, says the foundation, “offer a delightful glimpse into the daily lives of these preschoolers as they learn about the world around them and build the critical foundation needed for success in later life.”- 2009Sage Sohier (the artist) [1954–], commissioned by The George Gund Foundation, Cleveland, OH2009–24The George Gund Foundation, Cleveland, OH, given to The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OHSeptember 9, 2024–The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH
